A True Friend

The other day, I saw something unique: a flute duet with… one flute! A girl with a broken arm was blowing into the instrument while her friend, with both able-bodied hands, pressed the keys to make the notes. They played a whole piece like that!

It was a beautiful lesson in life, and it reminded me that there is no hopeless situation as long as we have at least one friend right next to us.

Your life may be shattered. Suffering blinds you and isolates yourself; you no longer want to trust anyone, and you even think that your life is no longer worth anything and that everything is over…

I would like to tell you that a Friend has been reaching out to you for a long time. Even if you don't see him, he's close and never left you, even when you thought everyone had abandoned you. This Friend is Jesus. He wants to join you where you are and share your sorrows. He wants and can help you overcome this suffering, give you hope, free you from your past and give you a new life. Trust him. By prayer, with your words, quite simply, ask him to reveal himself to you. In the Bible, especially in the Gospels, you will find the story of his life and the mission he carried out on behalf of God out of love for every human being. You will see that he did not come to visit perfect people, but to help people who are lost, broken, prisoners of their destructive thoughts ... In short, people like you and me.

Dare to trust him, and He will not abandon you.

Study Verses: Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be worried, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will support you. Isaiah 41.10
